Prof Rowsan Ara is working as Professor in the Department of Medicine, Green Life Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She passed MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1999. She achieved Fellowship (FCPS) in Internal Medicine from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2008 and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Rheumatology from BSMMU in 2012. She did six months APLAR fellowship training in the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute and Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, Australia. She received ARA-APLAR scholarship award in 2014. She has participated and presented many national and international conferences. She has 28 publications in various journals.
