Alan J. Kivitz, MD, MACR is President and Founder of the Altoona Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center & Altoona Center for Clinical Research in Duncansville, Pennsylvania, USA. He earned his medical degree at the Albany Medical College in Albany, NY and an Internal Medicine internship at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. He completed his residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and at North Shore University Hospital and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the Albany Medical College.
