Associate Professor Dr Fariz Yahya is a Consultant Rheumatologist at the University of Malaya Medical Centre and an Associate Professor at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (RNHRD) in Bath, United Kingdom. He was the Treasurer of the Malaysian Society of Rheumatology (MSR) from 2020 to 2022, a member of GRAPPA (Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis) and a member of the APLAR Special Interest Group for Spondyloarthritis. Dr Fariz Yahya has published several peer-reviewed articles and is involved in clinical trials including for psoriatic arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, SLE, gout and rheumatoid arthritis. He is also a reviewer for several rheumatology journals.
