A/Prof Fred Joshua is a physician/educator and researcher for the treatment of rheumatic diseases. He has completed a PhD in the use of ultrasound in rheumatoid arthritis and presenting research internationally in this areas.
A/Prof Joshua has developed rheumatological ultrasound in Australia and developed a degree for rheumatologists through the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine.
He has been the President of the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and developed ultrasound use for other specialities.
A/Prof Joshua has been involved in developing the undergraduate medical program at Macquarie University where he is A/Professor of Medicine and Rheumatology Clinical Discipline Head including ultrasound in the medical curriculum.
