Hong Di is a doctoral student in internal medicine at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital in China. Hong Di is involved in studying the pathogenesis and therapies of gout and hyperuricemia, with a special focus on the mechanism of immunological abnormalities. She recently published a new sutdy on the pathogenesis of γδT cells in acute gouty arthritis (AGA) as the co-first author. Hong Di is also very interested in the areas of chronic gouty arthritis (CGA), which affects the quality of patients’life and places a heavy burden on socail-economy, and hope to explore the unique pathogenesis of CGA, introduce the concept of immunotherapy in the treatment og CGA.
