Jun Saegusa is a Professor and Chairman of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at Kobe University Hospital. He received his MD and completed his rheumatology fellowship at Kobe University. He further enhanced his expertise through a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of California, Davis, USA.
Dr. Saegusa’s research interests encompass both basic science, focusing on elucidating the pathogenesis of systemic autoimmune diseases, and clinical research on rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) utilizing real-world cohort databases.
