Dr. Mona Manghani is a senior rheumatologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. She trained at the University of Wales, College of Medicine in 1998 and completed advanced rheumatology training in London and Sydney. Her fellowship training included a year at University of Basel/Felix Platter Hospital, Switzerland under the mentorship of Professor Alan Tyndall (2003-2004), and another year in sports medicine at the New South Wales Institute of Sports Medicine in Sydney (2004-2005).
She has an avid interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound and has obtained EULAR (European League Against Rheumatism) Level 1 and 2 Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification and Certification in Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU) awarded by the Australian Society of Ultrasound Medicine (ASUM) in 2014. Since then, she has been involved in teaching and running ultrasound workshops. She is a EULAR Certified Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Trainer, Musculoskeletal Examiner for ASUM and Chair of the Singapore Chapter of Rheumatologists Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Accreditation Committee.
