Dr. Nira Ferdous completed her MBBS from University of Dhaka in 2008. She obtained Fellowship of Bangladesh College of physicians and Surgeons in 2016 and Membership in the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2023. Currently she is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine in MH Samorita Hospital and Medical College, and as a Consultant in Modern One Stop Arthritis Care and Research Center® (MOAC&RC®) Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is the life member of Bangladesh Society of Medicine (BSM), Bangladesh Rheumatology Society (BRS) Association of Physicians of Bangladesh (APB), Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and Bangladesh College of physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She obtained special training in rheumatology, osteoporosis bone densitometry, biomedical research and good clinical practice. Dr. Ferdous’s areas of academic interest include Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Medical Statistics as well as Clinical research. She has 40 publications in different national and international journals. She attended and presented poster in several national and international medical conferences and symposium. She participated regularly and presented many posters in APLAR congress since 2016.
