Dr. Rohit Venugopal is a dedicated rheumatology specialist currently enrolled in the DM Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology training program at Madras Medical College, Chennai. His research interests are broad, encompassing Sjögren’s Syndrome, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and Nail fold capillaroscopy. He has been instrumental in organizing multiple medical conferences during his residency, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills.
In addition to his clinical and academic pursuits, Dr Rohit actively advocates for patient and physician needs through various organizational activities. He is the co-creator of ‘Apothekaryam,’ a platform dedicated to sharing valuable health insights. His academic achievements include securing 2nd prize in Oral Presentations at the World Rheumatology Forum in 2024 and presenting research on Disease X at the 2021 World Health Day Observance in Kerala. He continues to cultivate his commitment to lifelong learning, honed during his formative years at Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
