Terence is the AWS lead for Asia Pacific (based in Singapore) for healthcare and life sciences. Terence qualified from Imperial College and worked in the NHS before returning to Singapore where he worked in the public, private, NGO and government sectors before moving into clinical AI. He is an immunologist and primary care physician by training with a special interest in personalized nutrition, occupational & digital health. Terence is respected health and biotech thought leader with multiple speaking engagements a year (e.g. National Cancer Congress of Malaysia, Co11ab Singapore, ApecMed Singapore).
Just prior to joining AWS, Terence was the Global Medical Director for Ubie. Other career experiences in his career journey include being:
• Research work in tacrolimus in Non small cell Lung cancer at the Hammersmith Hospital
• Assistant medical director, Parkway Shenton Private Limited.
• Associate Consultant, Ministry of Health, Singapore.
• AI researcher for Babylon Health
• Medical Director, Ubie
• Exited founder of multiple health care businesses & clinics.
