I am an associate professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Kansai University of International Studies. My research focuses on patient’ QOL, psychological support, decision-support, and patient education, as well as nurse education and team collaboration, in the field of rheumatic disease, particularly rheumatoid arthritis.
Moreover, I have been working as a core member of the Asia-Pacific Initiative for Rheumatology Nurse Education (ASPIRE) of APLAR, and I am also a member of the Study Group of Patient Education (STOPE) of EULAR and participate in this group’s works as the representative of Japanese health professionals.
